«Actual problems and prospects of development of laboratory medicine in Kazakhstan»

 

April 4-5, 2012 held the 1st Scientific Conference of Laboratory Medicine KAMLD 2012 «Actual problems and prospects for development of laboratory medicine in Kazakhstan», Almaty, in konferens hall of the hotel «Holiday Inn»

The conference was attended by over 350 specialists in laboratory medicine, clinicians from Almaty and Astana, and the region (Almaty, Kyzylorda, Karaganda and other regions). Also, there were representatives from the scope of accreditation, technical regulation and standardization. In addition, the active involvement of representatives of the companies-suppliers of laboratory equipment and network laboratories.

The guests of honor of the conference were known Russian scientists, laboratory spicialists- Vice President of the Russian Association of Medical Laboratory Diagnostics (RAMLD) prof. Kishkun A.A. and prof. Moshkin, A.V, made a report.

Presentations of speakers dedicated to the following questions:

▪ Availability of laboratory testing

▪ The problem of organization of laboratory services

▪ Needs Clinic in the laboratory

▪ The problem of training for laboratory services

▪ The technical regulation, standardization and quality control.

 

Speakers noted that in laboratory medicine are being actively implemented high-tech studies using molecular genetic, immunologic, hematologic, coagulation, cytology, bacteriology, parasitology, virology and other methods. In the practice of laboratory medicine is increasingly being used modern equipment and high technologies, develop new areas of intensive laboratory studies that reflect global trends — personalized diagnostics and genomic drug monitoring, evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment the patient. Modern biochemical, molecular biological methods are the backbone in the formation of personalized medicine. This requires new approaches and modernization in the field of education in the specialty «Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics,» and in terms of quality and evaluation of laboratory results to practical public health.

At the end of the conference were accepted concept of clinical laboratory diagnostic services in the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2012-2015. and Resolution.
