THE RESEARCH WORK OF STUDENTS AT THE DEPARTMENT OF NERVOUS DISEASES

Over 4 years in charge of the RWoS were conducted by Assistant, PhD Mitrokhin D.

The purpose of the RWoS was to familiarize students with the in-depth methodology  of clinical neurological examination of patients with major clinical forms of neurological diseases. During the current year, the students mastered the basic techniques of paraclinical examinations: EEG, REG, EMG, EchoEG, MRI, KT, neuropsychological tests. Particular attention was paid to developing the students’ skills of research work. Students supervised patients with pathology of the nervous system. They worked in the office of electrophysiology, prepared reports and abstracts the message. Round 1 went Klepikov Dmitry, Belous Sergey, Tsoi Radmila, Tatiana Pavlenko, Ladychuk Catherine. The 3rd round reached and received a 1st grade Diploma Klepikov Dmitry, Belous Sergey with the poster presentation “Modern pathogenesis, pathophysiological aspects of vertebral pain and treatment approaches” (supervisor – prof. Nurguzhaev E.S.). In the 2012-2013 academic year the scientific student society was 11 people. Student society was built in a new format. During the current year, the students wrote and published three articles in scientific journals. Strong attention was paid to developing the students’ skills of research work. Students supervised patients with pathology of the nervous system. Students research was conducted jointly with the staff of the department. Subject of scientific work «Study of the effectiveness of the Vestibo drug in patients with mixed origin dyscirculatory encephalopathy with symptoms of vertebral-basilar insufficiency.” Sabdenova Said (GM 576-1) and Tursynova Asem (GM 576-1) “Current approaches to the treatment of Parkinson’s disease”. 2. Prof., MD Raimkulov B.N. – Klepikov D., Belous S. “Modern pathogenetic, pathophysiological aspects of vertebral pain and treatment approaches”. 3. As. Prof. Izbasarova A.Sh. – Kim H. t”Modern approaches to the treatment of vertigo.” 4. As. Prof. Mukhambetova G.A. – Duysekeeva G., Sadie Medina. “Modern aspects of vertigo in CBI. Clinical manifestations.” 5. Ass., MD Mitrokhin D. – Choi, R., J. Vakidinov, Elgin E. “Study of the effectiveness of the Vestibo drug in patients with mixed origin dyscirculatory encephalopathy with symptoms of vertebral-basilar insufficiency.” Our students were engaged in research work in the department for two years and participated in the “Day of Science” and reached the second round (03.04.2013) and third round (26.04.2013). 03.04.2013  in the 2nd round were:

  1. Kipshakbaeva Saltanat, GM intern in Therapy, performed a presentation – “Treatment of patients with various origins chronic cerebral ischemia using Halidorum drug.”
  2. Sabdenova Saida (GM 576-1) and Tursynova Asem (GM 576-1) “Current approaches to the treatment of Parkinson’s disease (presentation).
    1. Tsoi Radmila (GM intern in Therapy), Vakidinov Yadigar (GM intern in Therapy), Elgin Eugene (GM intern in Therapy). “Research on the effectiveness of the Vestibo drug in patients with mixed origin vestibular dyscirculatory encephalopathy with symptoms of vertebral-basilar insufficiency” (poster presentation).

26/04/2013 In the 3rd Round participated Tsoi Radmila (GM intern in Therapy), Vakidinov Yadigar (GM intern in Therapy), Elgin Eugene (GM intern in Therapy) poster presentation entitled “Research on the effectiveness of the drug in patients with vestibular dyscirculatory encephalopathy mixed origin with symptoms of vertebral- basilar insufficiency ” Taking part in the “Day of Science” and the head of the students received a diploma «Студенттік ғылым – 2013 г.».
