Ramazanova Bakhyt Amanullovna was born in 1958 and graduated from the Alma-Ata State Medical Institute in 1982, majoring in medical science. After graduation, she completed a one-year internship in therapy.

– from 1983 to 1987, she worked as a doctor at an emergency hospital;

– from 1987 to 1990, she worked as a senior laboratory assistant, then as the junior research assistant at the Microbiology Department of the Research Institute of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases;

– from 1990 to 1991, she worked as an assistant at the Department of Microbiology of the Almaty Institute of Advanced Medical Training.

– In 1991, she defended her PhD thesis: “Properties of enterotoxigenic staphylococci and their prevalence.”

– Since September 1991, he has worked at the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology of KazNMU, named after S.D.Asfendiyarov, initially as an assistant; since 1997, associate professor of the Department;

– In 1997, she received the title of associate professor.

– From 1999 to 2002, she was a full-time doctoral student in the Department.

– In 2002, she defended her doctoral dissertation: “The State of Microflora, Nonspecific Resistance of the Genital Tract of Women Using Contraceptives and the Possibility of Correcting the Disorder.”

– In 2005, she received the title of “Professor of Medicine.”

– From February 2013 to March 2017, she worked as a Vice-Rector for research and innovative projects

– From February 2002 to the present – Head of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology of KazNMU named after S.D.Asfendiyarov.

She is the author of over 240 publications, including three monographs, 30 educational and methodical manuals, 21 innovative patents, and ten standard microbiology programs for various specialities, under the editorship of B.A. Ramazanova, the 1st textbook, “Medical Microbiology”, in Kazakh for medical university students, was published and approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and its electronic version was released. Under her editorship, together with Associate Professor Kudaibergenov, a textbook in 2 volumes, “Medical Microbiology, virology and Immunology”, was translated into Kazakh. Author of Standard microbiology programs in the specialities: 051302-“Dentistry”, 05102-“Public Health”; 051301 – “General Medicine”; 051101 – “Nursing”, “Pharmacy” according to SCES 2006, standard programs for medical and preventive care according to SCES 2009. Author of the “National Guidelines for Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics” (2016)

Regarding the diversification of educational services, elective courses have been developed and implemented for the speciality 051102 -“Public Health.”

The following specialised training courses: “Sanitary microbiology with the basics of microbiological research methods”, “Medical parasitology with the basics of microbiological research methods”, “Mycology with the basics of microbiological research methods”, for the speciality 051301 – “General Medicine” – “Fundamentals of laboratory diagnostics of venereal diseases and mycoses.”

Under her leadership, the Department is constantly working on the self-education of teaching staff. Teaching staff undergo various pieces of training and participate in seminars.

The Department of Microbiology participates in the external evaluation program of the quality of microbiological research by the Interregional Association for Clinical Microbiology and Antimicrobial Therapy.

Ramazanova Bakhyt Amanullovna is a wonderful teacher and an excellent lecturer. She conducts practical classes and lectures on the entire course of microbiology, virology and immunology.

Under Ramazanova Bakhyt Amanullovna, students defended two doctoral, three candidate dissertations and 1 PhD. Currently, she is the head of 4 PhD students.

The priorities of scientific research are the normal microbiota of the human body (vagina, intestines, skin, upper respiratory tract), biological properties of microorganisms (persistence factors, antibiotic resistance), issues of clinical microbiology, medical mycology, laboratory diagnostics (processes, regulatory documents), pneumococcus (prevalence of serotypes, their biological properties.

B.A. Ramazanova is a member of the editorial board of the journals “Laboratory Business”, “Pharmacy of Kazakhstan”, “And Phthisiopulmonology”.

She is a full member of the European Society for Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID), a full member of the Regional Association for Clinical Microbiology and Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, a member of the International Association for Biosafety, a member of ASM.

Based on the results of her work, she received diplomas and commendations from the university. In 2009, she was awarded the Hippocrates Medal by the Russian Public Foundation.

In 2012, Ramazanova Bakhyt Amanullovna was awarded the title of “Best University Teacher” by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2013, she was awarded the departmental medal “For contribution to the development of health protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”

In 2015, the Association of Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan awarded her the “Akhmet Baitursynov Gold Medal”.

In 2016, she received the Order of “Kurmet”.

In 2021, she received the Gold Medal of KazNMU, named after S.D.Asfendiyarov.

Begadilova Tolkyn Sembayevna

From 1998 to 2000, she worked as a junior researcher at the Microbiology group of SIC KazSMU. Since June 2001, he has worked at the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology of KazNMU, named after S.D. Asfendiyarov as an assistant, and since 2011 – associate professor. In 2010, she defended her PhD thesis: “The Role of Colibacteriophages and Lactobacteriophages in the Formation and Functioning of the Normal Intestinal Microflora of Infants”. She has published over 30 scientific papers, including three methodological manuals co-authored in the Kazakh language. In addition, she participates in the implementation of international and intra-university STP.

T.S.Begadilova actively participates in the social life of the Department. In addition, she introduces new teaching methods into the educational process. Currently performs the work of the head teacher of the Department.

Participates in the implementation of scientific projects on the study of antibiotic resistance of microorganisms that cause infections in surgical hospitals in Almaty; pneumococcal disease in the Republic of Kazakhstan; she has published 24 reports, is a co–author of the book “Normoflora and human dysbiosis” edited by A. Yusupov Rustam Rakhimovich – from 1999 to the present – lecturer, senior lecturer, and Associate Professor of the Department of Microbiology, Virology of KazNMU. Since 2020 – Head of the Master’s degree program in the speciality “Biomedicine”.

From 2000-2006, he worked as Deputy Dean of the Joint Sanitary-Hygienic, Pharmaceutical and Dental Faculty of KazNMU, named after S.D.Asfendiyarov, 2008 – 2010– Head of the Department for Monitoring the Quality of Education (DMQE) of KazNMU, named after S.D.Asfendiyarov (quality manager of an educational organisation, internal auditor). From 2010 – 2011 – he was the Head of the Department of Planning and Control of the educational process (DPCEP) of KazNMU, named after S.D.Asfendiyarov.

From 2011 to 2013 – he was the director of the Educational Department of Basic Medical Sciences (Life Sciences Center) – she coordinated an interdisciplinary integration of teaching and research on the problems of the vital activity of the body in normal and pathological conditions, formation of the fundamental foundations of the professional competence of a doctor within the framework of basic biomedical disciplines.

From 2013-2020 – work as director of the Center (School) of pedagogical excellence named after H.S.Nasybullina: organisation and holding of training events (training, seminars, master classes) according to the competencies of a medical university teacher, including with the invitation of foreign specialists; development of educational and methodological documentation on medical education.

For more than 25 years of medical experience, he was a National expert of Kazakhstan agencies on academic ranking and accreditation of universities / educational programs. He was a member of the Expert Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan on an Academic scale and an expert in the First category of N.U. “IAAR” (Independent Agency of Accreditation and Rating). As Chairman of the External Expert Commission (EEC), he repeatedly participated in the work on institutional accreditation of medical universities and specialised accreditation of educational programs.

He is a participant and organiser of seminars, training, master classes, and conferences with international participation in medical education, accreditation and academic ranking of universities and educational programs, the intra-university system of quality assurance of education, etc.

Yusupov Rustam Rakhimovich is the owner of the Badge “Excellence in health care”, Gratitude/Algys of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (15.12.2017), Akim of Almaty, “Bronze Medal of KazNMU”, Certificate of KazNMU named after S.D.Asfendiyarov “Talent 2014-2015” in the nomination “Development of the image of the University”.

Leading publications are monograph, a patent for an invention, two Certificates of registration of exclusive property rights to an object of copyright, a rationalisation proposal, more than 50 scientific articles, manuals, and recommendations. He has been the author and co-author of Standard training programs in “Medical Microbiology, virology”, “Medical parasitology”, “Sanitary microbiology”, methodological and educational recommendations for doctors, students and teachers, and test tasks in microbiology. He takes part in the development and implementation of medical education programs. He is making presentations at conferences, including international ones, on medical education, conducting training and master classes on the competencies of a medical university teacher, and practical and lecture classes for students and undergraduates.
