Yussupov Rustam Rakhimovich about the work carried out within the framework of academic mobility
There is a memorandum of cooperation between the Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University and the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino. Within the framework of the Memorandum and in order to implement the academic mobility program, in accordance with the letter of ViceRector Zh.A.Kalmataeva (6525028610C8435C 8806-09-04-01-22-09 dated November 30, 2023), head of the Temporary research team FOR21-KazNMU, associate professor of the Department Microbiology and Virology Rustam R.Yussupov visited the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology of the Bukhara State Medical Institute from December 11 to December 23, 2023 The Goals and Objectives of the international educational project of the European Union ERASMUS+ (FOR21 – “Fostering the doctor of the 21st century: education for patient-centered communication”) were presented.
Trainings for teaching staff, master’s students, doctoral students

Meeting with the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Zharylkasynova Gaukhar Zhanuzakovna: familiarization with the EP of KazNMU, the contingent of students, the specifics of training at the Department of Microbiology of KazNMU in carrying out practical manipulations was carried out

In accordance with Work Packages WP1-7, the KazNMU Center for Communication Skills (CCS) was presented with its resources acquired through the Erasmus+ project. In order to disseminate the results of the FOR21 project, the experience of Asfendiyarov KazNMU in implementing a teaching program and assessing patient-centered communication skills in the conditions of the Department of Communication Skills and the Central Clinical Sciences Center-KazNMU was demonstrated, as well as the advantages of using virtual patient cases on the Open Labyrinth platform and cases standardized patients using the materials developed throughout the project as an example. During his stay at the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino, meetings were also held with vice-rectors and heads of structural units.

Teachers of the Department of Microbiology, Virology represented by the head of the department, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Ramazanova Bakhyt Amanullovna, PhD, Professor Mustafina Kamilya Kamalovna, PhD, Assistant Professor Yekaterina Alexandrovna Koloskova visited the Urgench branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy from April 3 to April 6, 2023 as a part of the teaching staff mobility program. During the period of mobility, teachers participated in the International Scientific and Practical Conference: “Modern Trends in the Development of Infectology, Medical Parasitology, Epidemiology and Microbiology” with oral presentations on topical health issues, gave lectures for students, conducted master classes to improve the qualifications of teaching staff in pedagogical competencies and in the specialty, conducted classes.
As a result of mobility, the staff of the two departments determined a plan for further mutually beneficial cooperation.

– practical training events were held at the Department of Microbiology, Virology, where the students were undergraduate students, doctoral students and undergraduates of the Department of Microbiology, Virology. Additional master classes for teaching staff of the Department of Microbiology, Virology.
During the period of mobility, teachers participated in the international Olympiad dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Department of Microbiology, Virology of KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, with their students. Students of the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino took the second place. As part of the cultural program, they visited the Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abai.
The program of the visit was carried out in full. As a result of the mobility, the staff of the two departments determined a plan for a further mutually beneficial visit.
The University Commission nominated Associate Professor Koloskova Ekaterina Aleksandrovna to participate in the ERASMUS+ program for teaching mobility. The academic mobility took place from June 1st to June 7th, 2023, for five days. The mobility was at the University of Granada in Spain, in the Department of Microbiology within the Pharmaceutical Faculty.
As a result of the academic mobility, Ekaterina Aleksandrovna got acquainted with the University, the Department of Academic Cooperation and completed the necessary documentation for academic mobility. She also familiarized herself with the Department of Microbiology, its structure, and its faculty members. Ekaterina Aleksandrovna participated in a practical master-class focused on isolating pure cultures of microbial contaminants in food products and identifying these microorganisms using the biochemical API method. She visited partner departments for scientific projects related to microbiology. Furthermore, she studied the documentation of the local ethics committee. As part of an excursion, Ekaterina Aleksandrovna visited the histology, anatomy, and molecular biology departments. Additionally, she saw the University of Granada’s research center.
On June 6th, 2023, Ekaterina Aleksandrovna delivered a lecture on “Antibiotic Resistance and Methods of Determination: Interpretation Challenges.”
